Poster Design + Marketing
Poster design has combined my love for various types of visual and performing arts throughout my career as an artist. Through social media coordination, I've strengthened my skills in design programs, such as Canva, Adobe suite projects, and Other art and editing software, as well.

The Duchess of Malfi
2023, Produced at Ramapo College of New Jersey
"One of the most powerful and poetic plays of the English Renaissance, Webster’s Game of Thrones like story of power and revenge shows how forbidden love leads to an aristocratic family’s self-destruction through corruption and hatred. This production brings intrigue, romance, horror, and tragedy to the stage of the Sharp Theater."
- Ramapo College of NJ's Theater Department
This production of Duchess of Malfi was contemporized through its design and direction, and brought a sense of otherworldliness to a show grounded in historic aristocracy. With these modern references incorporated into an otherwise classic story, the poster for the show itself was to reflect that.
The director of this play had introduced the idea of taking inspiration from 1980's punk show posters and ransom notes. The photography used in this design was shot and altered to imitate the "cut out" style seen in many of these posters to create a simple, yet effective, piece.
Ride the Cyclone
2023, Produced at Ramapo College of New Jersey
"In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived. "
- Ramapo College of NJ's Theater Department
This poster was fully illustrated, allowing for full creative input from both myself and the directors of this show. By utilizing elements of the set and lighting design, as well as subtle references to the musical itself, I was able to create a comprehensive design for the poster of this nearly sold out production.

F*cking A
2024, Produced at Ramapo College of New Jersey
"An otherworldly riff on The Scarlet Letter, involving a noble mother and her wayward son. In a world where women’s bodies are controlled by men, Hester’s branded letter A becomes a provocative emblem of vengeance, violence, and sacrifice."
- Ramapo College of NJ's Theater Department
This poster provided a unique challenge, despite its use of relatively simple typography. While the design of this piece could not direct expletives as per my given parameters, it was important for the play's title, "Fucking A," remained uncensored.
Because of this, I was able to play with some interesting means of problem solving by scrambling and rearranging the letters just enough for the title to still be readable, while still having it somewhat inconspicuous.
The Wolves
2024, Produced at Ramapo College of New Jersey
"The Wolves is an exhilarating and sometimes frightening look into the world of a team of young female soccer players. These teenagers are the only inhabitants of the astroturf planet where they spend their Saturdays, and they are “not there as daughters or girlfriends or sex objects or manic pixie dream girls.” They are there on their own terms, fighting to win at nationals while managing to survive high school. Winner of the first Relentless Award for Playwriting and a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Wolves is a sparkling take on raw adolescence, sex, society, soccer, and how to navigate coming of age in a complicated world."
- Ramapo College of NJ's Theater Department
This poster aimed to be a direct introduction to the overall themes of the show, while utilizing set and costume design to creative vector graphics and theming that matched that of the play itself. This is namely in the Wolves' Symbol, which is present both in the show's lighting design, as well as the uniforms worn by this show's characters.

Polaroid Stories
2024, Produced at Ramapo College of New Jersey
"A visceral blend of classical mythology and real-life stories told by street kids, Iizuka’s award-winning play journeys into a dangerous world where myth-making fulfills a fierce need for transcendence, where storytelling has the power to transform a reality in which characters’ lives are continually threatened, devalued, and effaced. Inspired in part by Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Polaroid Stories depicts modern-day mortals engulfed by needs that burn and consume with lyricism and great theatrical force"
This poster, similar to the approach taken in my designs for Ride the Cyclone, was fully illustrated. Using elements of the play allowed me to create an intriguing scene that focused on both the realistic setting of the play, a gas station, while taking into account the mythological elements of Ovid's Metamorphoses which transform this play, and its related poster, into a brutally realistic story with a semi-metaphysical overtone.
